Updos

We have stylists that specialize in all styles of updo's and special occasion hair. Perms

A permanent wave, commonly called a perm, involves the use of chemicals to break and reform the bonds of the hair. The hair is washed and wrapped on a perm rod and waving lotion is applied with a base. This solution creates a chemical reaction that softens the inner structure of the hair by breaking some of the cross links within and between the protein chains of the hair. The hair swells, stretches and softens, then molds around the shape of the perm rod.

Facial

A professional salon facial leaves your skin soft, clean and clear and your body feeling relaxed and pampered. Typically during a one hour session, the esthetician examines and evaluates your skin's type and condition. Next, she cleanses, massages and moisturizes your skin before giving it a gentle steaming to open pores. The facialist then unclogs pores and may apply a toner. A facial mask, formulated for your skin type, is applied and left on approximately 10 to 15 minutes, then removed. After the skin is cleaned of all products and sprayed with a mist or freshener, the estehtician gently blots the skin and applies a moisturizer. Some facialists also give an upper-shoulder massage to relieve tension. If you are having your first facial, you may experience a later break-out. Some reddness is normal after a facial.
